The highly anticipated Zilele Clujului festival is set to return from 30th May to 2nd June 2024, promising a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and creativity. Organised by the Cluj-Napoca City Hall, this year’s festival will feature over 100 events across more than 40 locations, showcasing the diverse cultural tapestry of Cluj-Napoca.
Opening Ceremony and Highlight Events
The festival will kick off with a spectacular drone, laser, and video mapping show on 30th May at 21:45 in Piața Unirii. This multisensory experience will set the tone for four days of engaging activities designed to connect and inspire.
One of the main attractions is the “Copiii Europei” performance by Anamaria Eli and Vladimir Agachi, scheduled for 31st May at 17:00 in Piața Unirii. This will be followed by a theatrical performance of “Sânziana și Pepelea” by Vasile Alecsandri at 20:30, also in Piața Unirii.
Music and Performances
Throughout the festival, multiple stages across the city will host concerts featuring local and international artists. Highlights include performances by Irina Rimes and Iuliana Beregoi, promising to draw large crowds.
The Seara de Muzică Clasică (Classical Music Evening) on 1st June will be a major highlight, featuring the Filarmonica de Stat “Transilvania” and other classical ensembles in Piața Unirii.
