There are currently 13 pharmacies spread around Cluj county, where visitors can obtain free COVID-19 tests, and receive a certified result.

The tests have been supplied by the Ministry of Health and distributed to approved pharmacies around the country. Anyone who is experiencing any symptoms specific to the COVID-19 infection can get tested at any of the listed pharmacies. The full list of locations across Romania can be found below:

The test is performed on-site and when completed, the result is submitted to the CoronaForms system, the central database in Romania, which can be queried by the certificate-covid.gov.ro platform to generate the COVID-19 “Green Certificate“.

You can also perform the test at home, however, the result cannot be certified or used to generate the “Green Certificate”

Following the rapid test, the document will be valid for 48 hours, and can be scanned by stores, restaurants and other venues in order to confirm whether someone is able to enter the location under local restrictions.
