The Avram Iancu International Airport has announced, that from March 20, 2021, there will be scheduled flights from Cluj to Dubai in the UAE, provided by Dubai headquartered flight operator, FlyDubai.

President of the Board of Directors of Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport, Viorel Federiga, said, “The Board of Directors of Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport appreciates the decision of a new air operator, in this case FlyDubai, to choose to operate from Cluj-Napoca and thus, it is clear that the efforts of Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport to resume traffic and to overcoming the negative impact of the crisis have positive effects “.

This decision paves the way for travelers departing from the airport, to use connecting flights offered by FlyDubai and Emirates to other destinations around the world in Africa, Central Asia, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, the Gulf Arab States as well as additional European destinations.

Flights will be operating to Dubai from the airport on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
